God's Gifts

Christmas wouldn't be complete without spending time with family and this year we were blessed with a new arrival.  Grandpa Dave and Grandma Joyce arrived on December 26th and spent the night with us in Seward.  The next morning they loaded up Morgan and headed to Roscoe for the remainder of the week.  Morgan was so happy to finally be on her way to play cards and enjoy family.  Chase had to wait until Friday when Mike's vacation started . We arrived at Roscoe on Friday evening to enjoy the good food, cards, and each other.  Jared called on Saturday morning to inform us that the newest "Blackman" would be born at 10 a.m.  Jeni, Katie, and Morgan took off to share in the birth and returned with Luke and Nathan for the evening. Morgan enjoyed time with Britni and Zoe and won over Zoe's affection. Chase and Luke enjoyed each other and shared their love for technology late into the night.  The time went by quickly and on Sunday morning everyone headed home.  Morgan though decided to take a detour and went on her first excursion with Katie and Shane to their home in Iowa.
